Note:- Skills (Plan, Model, Analyze, Visualize, Deploy, and Maintain deliverable)
Why get Certified?
Getting certified as a Data Analyst is a great and simple way to prove your knowledge to potential clients or future employers and for even getting noticed by management for a raise.
Unlike being certified for specific tools, Microsoft Certifications are now based on specific roles (like Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist, Developer, and so forth).

Hi, Thanks for the blog.
Quick question: What are the other resources you followed to get certified? Like Quizzes? any specific course?
Please note, I am a beginner to Power BI. I had completed the Microsoft Learning Path for Power BI.
Hi Kaushik,
I believe that the Learning path cover all the skills the next step is to put this skill into practice and use some datasets like adventure works dataset or any other dataset. Make sure to practice all measured skills with them.
Best of Luck!
Hi mate,
I have been using powerBI for the past one year at my work space, and I have 3 years experience as Data Analyst, can you pls guide me how should I prepare for this exam? Do you know any link where I can get practice quizes, plus, can you pls tell me which type of questions were there in exam? And whats the passing marks?
Hi Hassan,
Microsoft hasn’t released practice tests for this exam. If you are doing self study, I would suggest following the Microsoft learning path to prep for the exam. You have to score 700/ 1000 to pass the exam.
